A festival of visual and sound special effects synchronized with the grandiose architecture of the court and bringing back to life the celebrated episodes in the history of the Chateau.
A festival of special effects to discover History as you have never seen it before!
At nightfall, the Royal Chateau of Blois is transformed into the theater of an unforgettable experience. Spectators take their places in the heart of the Chateau courtyard for 45 spellbinding minutes bringing back to life the celebrated episodes from the history of the sites.
Sound effects and giant projections on the grandiose architecture of the court bring the history of France back to life: the tales of the loves, dramas and secrets that punctuated the lives of the kings and queens of France are told to you!
With the original music of Eric Demarsan and the staging of André Blanc, the voices of Robert Hossein, Pierre Arditi and Fabrice Luchini recount the mysteries which, in the Royal Chateau of Blois, helped to fashion the history of France. The illuminations of the facades and the music splendidly reflect the grandiose architecture of the courtyard: Sound effects and giant projections propel the spectator into the heart of the action, in a magical world of light and colors.
The seigneurial room, the celebrated staircase of the Francois I facade and the Gaston d'Orleans wing; as these successive creations forming four chateaux come to life, the entire history of France is reawakened. The encounter of Joan of Arc and Gilles de Rais in the chapel, the poetic tourneys in the Chateau organized by Charles d'Orleans, the wheeling and dealing of Louis XII with the archduke of Austria, the complaints of the merchants to Francois I, the assassination on the orders of Henry III of his rival the Duc de Guise... All of these illustrious personalities, who in every day and age have made resonate the walls of the Chateau are brought back to life in this unique spectacle, of which the script was written by Alain Decaux.
