A not-to-be-missed site in the town of Blois, the House of Magic has you enter an amazing world of illusion featuring one surprise after another.
Ideally located, in front of the Royal Chateau, the House of Magic is a large 19th-century house that recounts not only the history of magic and conjuring, but also the life and work of the famed conjurer from Blois, Eugène Robert-Houdin. A true temple of the magic arts, one of its kind in Europe, the house is renowned for the display appearing on its facade every 30 minutes, the six dragon heads on the windows of the building are quite a sight! That said, the interior is a place for touring and discovery.
Visitors of the 2000 m² building are proposed a wide range of activities involving fantasy, illusion and the magic arts. The house contains a number of curiosities that you will be thrilled to discover as you proceed from one room to the next, each of them full of animations, visual or optical games and all sorts of illusions.
Both historic heritage and family entertainment, the house of magic will bowl you over with its original shows and permanent activities!
